… is the first prompt for Project Quilting, Season 14. And I think Project Quilting and this prompt are the perfect beginning of a new quilting year.
This was my very first quilt, made 1988 – a schoolhouse block, all in all approximately 20 x 20 inches (sorry for the quality of the picture but this is a photo from a photo).
To be more creative this year I made the resolution to make a quilted postcard every other week (inspired by the beautiful postcards of Karolina Bakowsky from Poland @karoline.bcraft), although I’m not especially fond of working in such a small scale.
For the prompt FIRST I made my first postcard based on my first quilt.
Project Quilting runs til the middle of March and has six challenges. And it’s not too late to be part of it. Interested? Check it out here.
It’s absolutely perfect! What a great take on the challenge.
Ooh! What a fun post card! Love the colors, too.
